Lugho'arlan

Lugho'arlan is the native language of the Shahi'arla. It is an ancestor of Common Leonic.

Distribution and Varieties

Lugho'arlan is spoken widely across the Sita'arlan Desert by the Shahi'arla. While different dialects are spoken by different clan groups, most varieties are mutually intelligible. Lugho'arlan was also spoken by the Leonid Pilgrims, their language developing into Common Leonic after settling in the Meridán Region.

Rather notably, it is not spoken widely within The Junta, where it is largely prohibited in favour of state-enforced use of Leonic.
