Weight

The Libra

The libra (roughly equivalent to 10 grams) is a unit of weight originally defined and standardized in Equulia. It became popular within the Leonid Empire during and after The Turf Wars, and is now standard within the Imperial States.

It is defined based on a standard five-libra stone kept within the Magistrate's Court.

Currency

Copper, Silver, and Gold Libra

Across the imperial states, trade is largely conducted using copper, silver and gold pieces, each with standard weight of 1 libra.

Roughly speaking, one copper libra is worth about 10 cents, one silver libra about 10 dollars, and one gold libra about 1000 dollars.
